Performance Analyst – Children’s Social Care
Salary range: £25,485 to £32,241 (subject to knowledge and experience)
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Business Intelligence Service of Leicestershire County Council.  We are looking to recruit a skilled Performance Analyst to join our successful team on a permanent contract.
Working as part of a large and innovative Business Intelligence Service, liaising closely with colleagues across the council, you will help provide performance and business intelligence support for strategic planning, service delivery and statutory data requirements relating to Children’s Social Care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent experience), who has experience of working in a business intelligence or a performance management environment, with a keen interest in supporting services to use data as evidence for decision making. 
Experienced in using large datasets and presenting analysis using a variety of IT packages, you will have excellent IT skills and proven ability to learn new packages as well as knowledge of relevant specialist software – particular knowledge of Tableau (or similar visualisation packages) would be an advantage, although training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Your work will involve supporting the provision of high-quality children’s social care data and business intelligence analysis, improving data quality, completing statutory returns, providing support for Ofsted inspections and supporting senior managers and commissioners to improve services for children and families.
