Fixed Term pending a service restructure
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded Community Life Choices service based at Roman Way Community Centre in Market Harborough.
The Organiser will assist the management team in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the Community Life Choices (CLC) services.
The Organiser will be responsible to plan, monitor, evaluate and provide support for service users. Maintaining a high standard of support and care to people, ensuring their emotional, physical and social wellbeing needs are met, promoting the rights and independence of the individual.
The Organiser will plan CLC sessions, lead staff and promote an environment in which service users are encouraged to retain control over their own lives and are involved in the decisions that affect them; providing an environment leading to a satisfactory standard of care in line with the Fundamental Standards set by the Care Quality Commission which meets the needs of individuals and groups within CLC settings.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to supervise, manage and motivate staff
  • Ability to manage workloads and prioritise
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a part of a team
