We are looking for an exceptional person to join the Local Area Co-ordination team. You will work with individuals, communities and partners to identify a persons vision for a good life and to help individuals to work closer towards their goals. You will need excellent communication skills  and the ability to work with a wide range of people and partner organisations.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • NVQ levle 4 qualification or equivalent
  • Relevant experience (paid or voluntary) of working with individuals and communities, eg in a community development context
  • Skills and experience in influencing, managing and supporting change at an individual, family, community and system level
  • Experience of working with individuals who may be experiencing challenging issues/circumstances in a sensitive and professional manner, including being able to diffuse difficult situations
  • Capable of working autonomously, analysing problems and reaching creative solutions
  • Understanding and practical experience of advocacy/self advocacy
  • Experience of working effectively and collaboratively in partnership with other agencies, including voluntary and community sector organisations
  • Experience of supporting people to plan for the future
