LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (SEND) – with lunchtime support
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31/08/2020
Working Hours: 20 hours per week – Mon - Fri (8.45am–12.45pm)
Salary Details: Grade 5 Point 7 depending on qualifications and/or experience
Actual Salary: £8,554 per annum (£9.54 per hour)
Working Hours: Term Time Only – Fixed Term 1 Year
Start Date: Autumn Term 2019
                        
Barlestone C of E Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and knowledgeable LSA to join our friendly hardworking school. The candidate will be required to work one to one with a child and also with a small group of children, including the child with whom you are allocated, under the direction of the class teacher. Some hours will also be spent providing supervision over lunchtime.
        
You will need to:
• Have some current experience of working with children
• Be a good team player and able to work under your own initiative
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, written and oral skills
• Able to work in small groups
• Possess a calm and caring and inclusive approach to your role
• Be resilient, patient and open to challenges, committed to the development and raising standards of our pupils.

Previous experience of working in schools will be an advantage.
