Learning Support Assistant - 1:1 support for KS2 pupil with EHCP

This post is fixed term whilst the child remains at the school 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days). all posts are subject to a probabtionary period

Start date: as soon as possible

Monday to Friday 8.45 am to 3.15 pm (one hour unpaid lunch break)

Thistly Meadow Primary School is a friendly, popular school with a caring family ethos and a Good Ofsted rating. There are currently 208 children on roll. We are looking for a skilled LSA with:
Experience of working as part of a team to support a pupil with complex SEMH
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND, particularly those with autism, speech, language and communication difficulties and social and emotional needs
  • Relevant and recent experience of working with pupils with SEMH and with external agencies
  • Enthusiasm and motivation
  • and who works in partnership with teachers, parents and other professionals
