Leicestershire Adult Learning Service is rated as a 'Good' service by Ofsted. Learning Development and Delivery Coordinators (LDDCs) are responsible for the development, co-ordination and delivery of learning activities for their respective curricuum programmes. This vacancy is for a LDDC to work as part of the work-based learning team delivering apprenticeships, traineeships and employer focused programmes.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of ESFA rules and the Ofsted inspection framework in relation to work-based learning programmes. They will be experienced in delivery or management of apprenticeship Frameworks and Standards.
 
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 

  • Substantial experience within further education or adult learning
  • Proven experience of delivering successful vocational post 16 learning
  • Knowledge of professional teaching and learning best practice
  • Experience of implementing quality assurance processes
  • Ability to provide effective line management of delivery staff such as tutors, assessors and learning support assistants
