Closing date:17 February 2019 at midnight 

• Teaching a range of classes and levels at a variety of venues around the county, modelling excellence in teaching and learning, including reflective practice and the application of the Professional Teaching and Learning Standards
• Mentoring and coaching tutors, sharing good practice to help them achieve excellence in teaching and learning
• Assisting in implementing and monitoring all quality assurance strategies, systems and procedures
• Advising and supporting tutors in the development of resources and online materials, including the use of the Moodle class page and the service learning platform
• Have personal ICT skills at level 2 or higher and understand how to promote the use of ICT with tutors to support excellent teaching and learning
• Deliver ESOL courses to meet City & Guilds ESOL qualification specification and support other staff through this process, carrying out exams, marking papers and completing internal verification processes
• Ensure own personal development through job related learning opportunities and ongoing critical reflection and encourage/support other tutors to do the same
• Must be able to travel between centres during the day or evening as required, using own transport, for meetings, teaching, tutor support
• A recognised teaching qualification, preferably for adults
• The ESOL subject specialism qualification or equivalent
• Recent substantial experience of teaching ESOL at a range of levels
• Excellent knowledge of resources to support teaching and learning, including online resources
• Good personal ICT skills and the knowledge of how to use ICT to support teaching and learning
• An understanding of what outstanding teaching is and the experience of supporting others to achieve it
• Have a coaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this
