Salary Range: £46,413 - £51,351 plus Market Premia
                
To oversee delivery of third-party promoted highway related infrastructure, including early development, technical approval, delivery and subsequent adoption.  To oversee the County Council statutory Lead Local Flood Authority duties.
           
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent OR equivalent demonstrable work experience in infrastructure management
  • Leading and managing a service in line with defined frameworks for performance management, in line with departmental / service plan.  This will include the effective management of Health and Safety and risk
  • Managing budgets in line with the Council's financial management practices and policies
  • Ability to build powerful relationships across stakeholders, peers and partners, creating open and transparent relationships based on trust
