Salary Range: £18,426 - £21,168  
The Information Governance Team is looking for a full time Subject Access Request (SAR) Assistant to manage and process subject access requests received by the Council. The IG Team is responsible for administering subject access requests in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. This role will be to ensure that all requests are acknowledged and responded to within statutory timescales.
The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, possess good communication skills and be IT literate.
Previous experience and knowledge of dealing with Subject Access Requests is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will also have great interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure and able to prioritise their own case load.
