Nottingham City Council's IT Commercialisation Team run a diverse programme of projects, including managing a state-of-the-art training facility, that delivers high-quality certified courses to the citizens of Nottingham.
 
Due to ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen to employ a new team member, who will be responsible for overseeing the training centre.
 
We are looking for a confident, friendly individual to support the team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and experienced in overseeing a busy centre hosting diverse training events. We are looking for a customer-facing individual, who can maintain a professional attitude while managing multiple tasks. The candidate will be responsible for scheduling courses, receiving payments from suppliers and candidates, and ensuring the centre's common areas are well maintained. The successful candidate will have opportunities for both training and development.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy multi-room environment
  • Ability to liaise with suppliers to schedule events and ensure payments are received
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • A keen eye for detail and a desire to maintain high standards
