The Crisis Response Service is looking to recruit Home Care Assistants to work day shifts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays  within the County of Leicestershire. The Crisis Response Service is accessible to people aged 18+ undergoing a crisis that requires urgent social care intervention. The service is short term and supports people who are experiencing a social care crisis within their own home and without which they may be admitted to hospital or a care home.
   
The service provides the provision of urgent personal care, assessment and relevant support following a fall, assistance with urgent nutritional needs and support with prescribed medication (in line with the Medication Policy and Guidelines).
  
To provide assistance of the highest quality to vulnerable people in their own homes by assisting them with tasks of daily living whilst encouraging them to achieve maximum independence working within the CRS team. Previous experience of caring in a personal or statutory capacity.  
  
The Crisis Response Service is being developed and requires 2 home care assistants to cover within the county of Leicestershire.
