The starting salary is £33,782 (level 1) rising to £35,745 (level 2) on first year anniversary,

Daily activities of the role include:
To enforce health & safety and environmental standards within depots and sites
Carry out inspections and audits in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
Work with individuals and teams to embed HSEQ thinking  into all of Neighbourhood Services  operations
To provide specialist support for frontline operational services, eg waste operations, streetscene, fleet
              
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced and indepth knowledge, understanding and awareness of occupational health and safety legislation and its application
  • Experience of auditing of ISO requirements
  • Knowledge of HSE guidance relevant to Neighbourhood Services
