Following the planned retirement of our Headteacher we are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to take up the position.
At St. Bartholomew’s, we are proud that our children are enthusiastic, well-behaved and enjoy coming to school. We have a vibrant school in the heart of the village community, with highly committed and compassionate staff, an excellent and supportive Governing Body as well as a very proactive PTA. We have a track record of high academic achievement alongside a broad programme of extended school provision. In addition, we offer outstanding personal support that ensures our children are happy and learn values inspired by our Christian ethos.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who can foster a nurturing educational environment, while managing expanding pupil numbers. As we are a Church of England school, the successful candidate must be committed to maintaining and developing the Christian ethos. The appointed headteacher must have high expectations of teaching and learning, and be committed to encouraging children to achieve their full potential. We are expecting to appoint an approachable and motivational leader with a proven track-record and experience in primary education, who will be able to inspire the children and staff of St Bart’s.
Ofsted 2017:Pupils are self-assured and confident learners. They have a very good understanding of the school’s ‘CARES’ code. The values of cooperation, awareness, respect, enjoyment and success are visible in classrooms. Pupils throughout the school consistently demonstrate these values.’
