Due to the continued expansion of our highly skilled team, we are seeking to appoint hardworking and friendly Graduated Response Practitioners with successful experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. You will be committed to providing high quality, inclusive provision and be able to share your skills, expertise and knowledge across primary schools in Leicestershire. You will have experience of delivering a range of interventions and adapting class work to make it engaging and accessible and have recent and excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum. Your work will involve working across the primary schools in Leicestershire preventing exclusion and supporting reintegration and working within the classrooms.
Working alongside Teachers and Teaching Assistants throughout the county supporting them with the skills, knowledge and positive attitude to support children with SEMH issues within their schools. We are looking for dedicated, resilient and caring individuals, who can work well as a part of a team, whilst using initiative when working independently.

The team is currently based at Blaby, which is the Pupil Referral Unit for Leicestershire. In May 2020 we are relocating to two new sites in the North and South of the county, Earl Shilton and Shepshed. We are recruiting for both sites for permanent and fixed term maternity cover.
Post holder will either be allocated to a permanent contract, working 34 hours per week 39 weeks per year, which includes training days or fixed term maternity cover. For the right candidate part time hours may be considered.
Travel expenses are paid from your base location, but you are expected to travel to schools across the County in your own time.
