Salary:Grade 10 - £27,936 - £31,377

Job Purpose:
• To support the Sufficiency and Business Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of the processes and policies of Free Early Education entitlement (FEEE) are in place for the service and sector
• To coordinate, advise and implement statutory FEEE guidance for service and department and liaise with business managers for operational delivery
• To support the administration processes for early education places 2,3 and 4 year olds
• To support and inform the service to ensure there are sufficient childcare places to meet the needs of the families in Leicestershire ( including those who have additional needs) to meet the Local Authority's statutory duty 
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, or equivalent level of experience
• Trained in the use of Microsoft Office
• Evidence of good written and spoken English, including grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Evidence of continual professional development
• Experience of supervising staff, including undertaking performance and management reviews
• Experience of project management
• Proven administration experience
• Experience of working in a local authority
• Experience of interpreting statutory guidance into operational guidance
• Experience of dealing with complaints
• Knowledge of application of spreadsheets and databases
• Knowledge of Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation
• Supervisory skills in the management of staff
• Competent in the use of Microsoft packages
• Good Customer care skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to prioritise workloads and keep to deadlines
• Ability to work as part of team and recognise the balance of strengths and weaknesses of the others and self
• Understanding of importance of confidentiality
• A flexible approach to working, including out-of-hours, and an ability and willingness to travel to various locations
• An understanding of, and commitment to, Equality and Diversity and the ability to apply this to strategic work and day-to-day situations
• Must be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment, where appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010
