The starting salary is £32,878 (Level One) rising to £34,788 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

THE ROLE:
Nottingham City Council are looking for an experienced, qualified and innovative Fleet Compliance Manager to lead on and provide technical advice on the compliance of the Councils fleet and drivers to ensure that all of the cultural, operational and statutory arrangements are met (under the Councils Vehicle Operators Licence).
   
The post holder will assist the Fleet Manager in the management of the compliance of the Council Fleet comprising of 450+ vehicles and 1000+ items of plant. 
     
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
• Experience of local authority service provision and managing vehicle resources
• ability to influence and enforce compliance with safe, efficient and legal standards
• Experience of managing a team
• National Certificate of Professional Competence in Road  Haulage
