An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Finance Administrator within our Finance Shared Service Centre based in Nottingham City Centre on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months. The Finance Service Centre, part of East Midlands Shared Service, is a large vibrant team delivering high quality Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support services to Leicestershire County Council and Nottingham City Council. 
   
We are looking for an individual who is a good team player, customer focused and understands the importance of meeting service level agreements and meeting deadlines. Accuracy is essential for this role alongside the ability to work flexibly to meet workload demands. 
    
You may be a school/college/university leaver looking to gain a year’s experience in a finance environment, looking for a career change or returning to work after a career break, what matters most are your transferable skills detailed below:
• Enthusiastic team player
• Attention to detail with ability to contribute new ideas and ways of working
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Excellent communicator able to form relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers
• Customer service experience is preferable
