The Governors and Staff of Rise Park Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Family Support Worker, 37 hours per week, term time only. We are looking for someone who is energetic, highly motivated and hard working to join our vibrant and happy team.
The successful person will be able to:
• Support parents to engage with all aspects of the life of the school and promote positive parenting by engaging parents through direct contact in Schools in the Oakwood and Park Vale areas.
• Work with parents and the Headteacher to support regular pupil attendance and supporting children's transitional arrangements.
• Support parental engagement with Extended Services.
• Demonstrate initiative and flexibility in carrying out the work role.
• Promote an open door policy for referred and non-referred children, including meeting children and families for ad-hoc or short term interventions.
