To be responsible for the efficient design, planning and project management of Highway construction schemes or maintenance works to achieve delivery within time and cost targets, ensure compliance with specifications and quality management systems.
  
Experience
  • Providing professional, commercial advice and support to managers and supervisors as required
  • Developing and presenting project reports to peer groups and financial heads of department
  • Significant experience of operational project or work programme management and reporting
  • Asset management, lifecycle planning and whole life costing.
  • Significant experience in management of highways related projects, design development, specification and procurement, and contractual procedures
  • Interpreting and writing technical and non-technical reports and providing technical advice
  • Engagement with suppliers and customers, including attending and producing materials for meetings and exhibitions
