Salary Details: Grade 11 - Salary £32,094 pa
       
To be responsible for project management of delivery, supporting and planning projects, ensure compliance with specifications and quality management systems.
• Liaise with Operations and act as project manager on site of the duration of the scheme build
• Manage sub-contractors
• Assist with development of scheme designs
• Carry out spot checks and quality control check
• Be able to create blueprints, drawing and specification.
• Understand H&S, Financial and Environmental legislation and ensure H&S plan accurately reflect this onsite
• Ensuring that feasibility exercises are undertaken to ensure work carried out is profitable.
• Early and effective contractor involvement
• Development of H&S information for works. Ensure effective communication of this information
• Planning / programming of effective resources utilisation in order to control costs &income, minimising waste
        
Main duties & responsibilities:
• To ensure that the services are delivered for the benefit of the people of Leicestershire.
• To be responsible for maintaining effective partnerships and working relationships with statutory, voluntary, private agencies and communities to promote and meet the Council’s and Department’s services and objectives.
• To ensure activities are delivered in the most efficient and effective manner as possible.
• To be responsible for strategic and technical advice to Members, partners, customers and stakeholders to ensure appropriate communication and dialogue takes place; including writing reports
• To support the performance management of services and teams through the departmental business planning process to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of Departmental and Service outcomes; monitoring and reporting on progress as required.
• Responsible for protecting and managing information securely, and reporting breaches or suspected information security breaches, inolicies.
