The starting salary is £25,295 (Level One) rising to £26,999 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

The Energy Projects Officer (Solar) role presents an exciting opportunity to join our Solar Projects Team with the award winning Energy Services division. The post holder will deliver on a range of exciting projects and programmes, supporting our ambition to become a carbon neutral city by 2028.               

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with and without Excel
  • Ability to write compelling business cases
  • Strong ability to design solar PV systems and experience using specialist software such as PVSOL including 3D modelling 
  • Experience of delivering solar projects and attending sites to assess viability
