The Energy Projects Officer (Solar) role presents an exciting opportunity to join our Solar Projects Team with the award winning Energy Services division. The post holder will deliver on a range of exciting projects and programmes, supporting our ambition to become a carbon neutral city by 2028.
   
The starting salary is £24,657 (Level One) rising to £26,470 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.
               
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with and without Excel
  • Ability to write compelling business cases
  • Strong ability to design solar PV systems (inc farms) using specialist software including 3D modelling 
  • Experience of delivering projects and attending sites to assess viability including creating basic electrical plans
