JOB PURPOSE:
 
Working as a member of the Pupil Services Team ensuring that Leicestershire parents/carers who are choosing to electively home educate their children, are compliant with the given regulations
 
Work within the legal framework, whilst promoting compliance with current EHE legislation 
 
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • GCSE 'C' or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics
  • Evidence of further education and professional development or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment or people orientated role
  • Experience of accurately capturing, storing and retrieving information to meet organisational and customer needs
  • Previous experience of working in a similar service/environment
  • Experience of working in an environment where confidentiality and security of sensitive information is required
  • Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to EHE
  • Ability to keep accurate record systems
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member with dynamic, enthusiastic and harmonious approach
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with colleagues
  • Must be a good timekeeper with high level of personal organisation
  • Evidence of effective written, oral and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and be an effective member of the team
  • To be proficient in the use of computer software and input data in accordance with agreed procedures
  • To hold a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, However a reasonable adjustment will be considered for an applicant with a disability
