Leicestershire EPS is a successful and growing service. We aim to apply psychology creatively and collaboratively to empower and inspire others to promote inclusion and learning, wellbeing, and positive futures for all.
Following the recent appointment of a number of new Educational Psychologists, we are now seeking further creative, innovative and forward-thinking EPs or those in their final year of training.
We are a small and friendly team of Educational Psychologists, currently organised into two virtual but co-located teams covering North and South Leicestershire. We are partially traded services with demand for our commissioned work growing year on year, which currently includes:
  • Service level agreements with individual schools, academies and multi-academy trusts
  • Specialist commissioned work with services such as Leicestershire Virtual School and locality-based forums
  • Centrally delivered training and capacity-building work, including ELSA and other training developed by our Educational Psychologists
As our service continues to grow, so too do opportunities to engage in other work to support inclusion in Leicestershire, now is an exciting time to join our service!
Leicestershire EP's have access to whole-service and individual CPD opportunities as well as individual, group and peer supervision arrangements. We are based in a well-appointed central office and have access to first class facilities within County Hall, Glenfield. Flexible working is encouraged and EP'S have access to local 'touchdown' bases across the County to reduce travel time and ICT equipment for mobile working.
