Development and Change Consultant
Fixed Term position for 12 Months (Secondment Cover). The starting salary is £33,782 (level 1) rising to £35,745 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time).  Please ensure you read our Terms and Conditions Information which includes advice on pay, annual leave and hours of working.

Nottingham is not without its challenges and as a Development and Change Consultant, in the HR and Organisational Development service, you will play a key role in supporting our ambition to move into a new era for Nottingham.  You will work with a range of stakeholders and contribute to projects and initiatives that will support the Councils workforce priorities.
What we’re looking for…
We are seeking a motivated and agile individual with experience of facilitating change in a diverse organisation and developing leaders through coaching and other development interventions. 
If you have a proven track record of supporting the delivery of organisational transformation interventions through the development, skills and training of a workforce, particularly Managers and Leaders, we want to hear from you.

Please provide information on the relevant skills and experience you have that will enable you to meet the following essential criteria.

1. Thorough understanding of current issues in relation to management and organisational development.
2. Ability to facilitate learning and coaching sessions with individuals and groups of managers/leaders.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, and external contacts with confidence, diplomacy, and strong negotiation/influencing skills.
4. Experience of working with a range of stakeholder/ clients across all levels in the Council, positively addressing barriers and influencing outcomes
5. Extensive experience of delivering management training to senior level managers and management teams
6. Effective presentation skills with ability to deliver and facilitate change/development initiatives
