The starting salary is £18,426 (Level One) rising to £18,795 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Sport and Leisure Customer Service Team based on the site of the Nottingham Tennis Centre. As a Customer Service Advisor you will be the first point of contact for customers managing telephone calls, email enquiries, social media enquiries and taking payments over the phone in addition to administering bookings, direct debit payments and processing invoices. We are looking for someone with a passion for providing excellent customer service and the ability to manage each customer's needs as an individual, selling the variety of services we provide and responding to direct debit enquiries. Ideal candidates will have good IT skills and whilst a background in sport is not essential, being a good team player, problem solver, attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload is essential for our already thriving team. We provide an ongoing training and development and access to a number of Nottingham City Council benefits.
           
You will work to a prepared rota and ideal candidates will be flexible. Rota is subject to change with notice.
               
The Customer Service Team operate Monday to Friday between the times of 7.30am and 8.30pm and weekends 8.30am to 1.00pm.
                                  
The following Customer Service Advisor Positions are available:
1 x Permanent Part-time hours

1 x Fixed Term (12 months) Full-time hours

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience of delivering excellent customer service. Post holder will act as a first point of contact for customers, dealing with enquiries, complaints, sales & communicating effectively with a wide range of  people over the phone. Dealing with a variety of customers/enquiries, the post requires individuals who possess excellent customer service delivery and meet the needs of the customer.
2. Experience of working as part of a team to achieve a goal in a pressured environment.
3. Experience of using IT systems ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, whilst managing a busy workload.
                    
Candidates that have been successfully shortlisted will go one to receive a telephone discussion and invite to interview. This telephone discussion will form part of your interview. There will be a test as part of the interview which will take place on the same day as your interview.
