ESPO are seeking to appoint a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to join our Place & Environment procurement team. The team is responsible for a portfolio covering building, FM, environmental services, highways, vehicles and waste management some experience within these markets is essential. We are also looking for candidates with experience or a good understanding of selling into the public sector in their current or previous roles.   
   
The CRM role involves close liaison with current and/or prospective public sector customers to encourage them to use the Place & Environment Team’s range of procurement frameworks.     
    
The successful candidate will also be required to develop, manage, coordinate, and review the performance of a small team of contract support and administration staff, to deliver business objectives and outcomes through building, developing and fostering relationships with key customers, suppliers and stakeholders and to increase the business opportunities for all aspects of ESPO’s Place & Environment category.  
                 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree or equivalent qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Experience of working with customer accounts in one or more of the following sectors: building, FM, environmental services, highways, vehicles, waste management.
• Experience or a solid understanding of selling products or services to the public sector, and/ or public sector procurement is an advantage
• Proven account management including relationship building, developing and managing a network of contacts.
• Experience of managing a team or teams of professional resources, ensuring appropriate staff utilisation to achieve targets and goals as well as day-to-day line management (HR) responsibilities.
• Able to analyse complex issues quickly and respond, providing advice in a clear, concise and impartial manner.
