ESPO are seeking to appoint a Energy Customer Relationship Manager to join our Energy procurement team. The team is responsible for a portfolio covering Mains Gas, Electricity & Liquid Fuels some experience within some or all of these markets would be an advantage.  
      
The successful candidate will be required to promote ESPO’s range of Energy contracts, and in particular the Mains Gas & Electricity frameworks, to prospective customers across the wider public sector. As well as creating a stakeholder engagement plan the post holder will build strategic relationships with key customers and our suppliers to retain and grow our business.
    
You will assist in the preparation of marketing material in conjunction with our in house marketing team and report to the Procurement Service Manager each month with regards to sales activity against targets, forecasts and plans. You will also provide market feedback and intelligence for the key customer cohort and ensure customers receive excellent customer service.
  
This is a pivotal role in the management of customers’ gas and electricity portfolios worth £145m per annum.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree or equivalent qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Proven Account Management experience, including relationship building, developing and maximising staff utilisation.
• Results and performance outcome orientated.
• Proven track record of managing a varied workload, completing projects on time and delivering high performance.
• Negotiating and influencing a range of stakeholders including customers, suppliers and collaborative working partners building relationships to achieve results.
• Ability to communicate with a range of customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels, using written and verbal means, including making presentations.
• Manages time effectively to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met, for themselves and any staff for which they have supervisory responsibility.
• Sets targets, manages and motivate staff to maximise their performance.
• Ability to understand, interpret and apply the EU procurement regulations to customer requirements in the energy category to ensure compliance whilst achieving the optimum outcome for the organisation and its customers.
