We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Museum and Heritage Team.  This role will predominately be based at The 1620s House and Garden, but throughout the year cover may be required at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre.

The Customer Liaison Assistant role is customer facing, working as part of a team including paid members of staff and volunteers.  Duties will include providing a warm welcome and high quality visitor experience, encouraging new and repeat visits as well as assisting with social media campaigns, health and safety, retail and processing all site bookings.

The 1620s House and Garden is open to the public April- September, Thursday - Sunday plus Bank Holidays.  The majority of the contracted hours for this post will be worked during this period, with some hours being held back to cover events that take place outside the main open season, as well as for attending staff training during the off peak period.
  • NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent in relavant subject area, or demonstrable experience
  • Experience of good customer service

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • Knowledge of what makes an excellant visitor experience
  • Willing to work weekends, Bank Holidays and evenings
This is a permanent, part time position 0.28FTE
