Creative Learning Services are recruiting a Support Officer to maintain and organise resources, to assist with the preparation and delivery of services to customers, to facilitate customer visits to the CLS Learning Hub and to deliver excellent customer service, including providing information, advice and guidance to customers by email, phone, via the CLS website and in person.
             
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Or demonstrable experience identified within the section below.
• Proven experience of excellent customer care
• Good knowledge of IT especially Microsoft office packages
• Interest in books, art, history and resources for learning
• Understanding of the value of cultural services for learning and wellbeing
• Knowledge of GDPR
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Manages time effectively to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines met
• Takes responsibility for organising own work to achieve objectives and set tasks for casual staff if required
• Demonstrates flexible approach to meet changing demands
• Works cooperatively across teams and service areas
• Strives to improve service delivery by the use of customer feedback
• Resolves problems at the earliest / most appropriate stage, referring to others only when outside personal scope
• Deliver services which support the Council’s organisational values and behaviours of Positivity, Trust and Respect, Flexibility and Openness and Transparency
• An understanding of, and commitment to Equal Opportunities, and the ability to apply this to all situations.
• Must be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment, where appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010
