This is a fantastic opportunity to join our highly sought after and expanding school. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and able individual who will be able to supervise whole classes of SEND pupils, deliver their appropriate set work and ensure that the work is completed in the short-term absence of the subject teacher.

If you are a motivated individual who is able to demonstrate initiative, enjoy preparing students learning environment, are able to adapt to the varying demands of differing SEND pupils, enjoy working closely as a member of a team, then come and join our team of academic support staff.

Maplewell Hall is a special school for students with moderate learning difficulties aged 11 – 19 years. At present there are 235 students on roll, (195 students 11-19 in main school and 40 students 11-16 within our expanding MAP provision). We provide a vibrant and engaging curriculum to developthe students’ confidence, academia and practical life skills, preparing them for their next steps in life.

The school is situated in extensive grounds in Charnwood Forest just outside Woodhouse Eaves and is six miles from Loughborough. Maplewell Autism Provision (MAP) opened in September 2016 and continues to grow, MAP provides personalised learning for students with high functioning Autism.
