The starting salary is £19171 (level 1) rising to £19945 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time).

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HM Coroner’s Office.   Working in a friendly and fast paced administration team, you will be supporting the HM Senior Coroner and HM Assistant Coroners, the Head of Service and Practice Manager in delivering a responsive, professional and robust service, as well as acting as a Court Usher providing support to witnesses and families.  This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a flexible and motivated approach to working.
      
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment, dealing with emotionally challenging workloads and to maintain complete confidentiality
• Ability to learn new and complex procedures in order to promote the flexible running of the service.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent and accurate computer skills and the ability to use a variety of software packages and applications to support the delivery of the service.
• Ability to be organised and meet deadlines, prioritising work and managing a caseload.
