Working Hours: Fixed contracts offering between 10 – 35 hours
Salary Details: £8.65 per hour (with relevant qualification / experience) + car allowance
This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team for one of Charnwoods key service providers for people with learning disabilities and to make a critical contribution to their lives.
We are looking for support workers to provide practical care and support to adults with learning disabilities within the service users home and in the community. This service is CQC registered.
You must have previous experience of providing support, preferably to somebody with a learning disability and within the community. You should be able to work independently and be able to think on your feet to support the needs of those with disabilities. Confidentiality, flexibility and reliability are crucial as well as good communication skills.
  • Use of car, full clean driving licence & business insurance
  • Relevant NVQ 2 or 3 or similar qualification and relevant experience
  • Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
Shifts take place Monday – Sunday between the hours of 7.30 am and 10.00 pm. Shift patterns and flexibility can be discussed with the service manager at interview to achieve a good work-life balance.
