The Public Health Department in Leicestershire County Council is enthusiastic and passionate about protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of the local population.  We are looking to recruit experienced and forward-thinking Infection Prevention and Control advisors to join our team. The successful post holder will be responsible for supporting the quality improvement and assurance of Infection Prevention and Control in settings across Leicestershire and Rutland. The successful candidate will be required to work in partnership with colleagues across Leicestershire and Rutland County Council and with external partners within Health and Social Care.
          
The post holders will be required to work flexibly throughout the County, have excellent communication and organisation skills and be able to work confidently and professionally with care staff, managers and wider partners, raising standards through education and supportive challenge. The organisation can offer the successful candidates flexible working, access to NHS pension, training and development opportunities and an opportunity to shape Infection Prevention and Control practice within Social Care.
