It's a fast-paced environment, exciting, challenging and rewarding all at the same time. We’re looking for a communications professional to join our team - someone who is up for the challenge, and can plan, deliver and evaluate communications campaigns that keep our residents, visitors and employees informed, manage the council’s reputation, encourage behaviour change and generate income. You'll also need an eye for a good story and a grasp of print, broadcast, digital and social media.     

You are:
- an experienced communications professional with an excellent grasp of digital and social media
- a team player, supported by a great team
- able to produce content for a wide range of channels
- customer focused. Our key audiences are staff and residents.
- able to build strong relationships with our internal clients and partners
- creative – you’ll work with our graphic designers to produce print, digital, social and video content.
- someone who puts the council’s reputation first.
