We’re looking for a communications professional who can plan, deliver and evaluate media and communications activity.     
   
Our communications and digital services team is responsible for:
• A range of social and commercial marketing campaigns
• Managing the council’s reputation
• Engaging internal staff and managers
• Creative design for print, digital, social and video
• Customer-focused digital services    
  
As a member of our busy communications team, you will bring your professional expertise to a range of communications activities.     
    
Here’s a flavour of our current priorities:
• Communications surrounding high profile plans to join up council and NHS services
• Explaining the council’s financial plans 
• Advising on the communications requirements for a range of transformation projects
• Managing the communications surrounding the council’s consultation activities      
     
We’re looking for someone with experience in a press office or media environment, who can produce a range of content, with a grasp of traditional methods and digital and social media.
