Hours at Market Harborough Children & Family Wellbeing Centre:
Monday: 1pm - 4.30pm
Tuesday: 1pm - 4.30pm
Wednesday: 12.30pm - 4.30pm
Thursday: 12.30pm - 4.30pm
Friday: 12.30pm - 4pm
   
Cover required at Lutterworth and Broughton Astley Children and Family Wellbeing Centres.
     
JOB PURPOSE
• To be the welcoming face of the Children's centre for parents and volunteer's in particular, and provide administration support service to Children's centre Service
• To assist in group interventions for families at the centres     
     
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 
• NVQ 2 or equivalent in literacy and numeracy or equivalent experience
• Experience of admin, including reception message taking and relaying and maintaining record systems
• Experience of production of word-processed reports and correspondence Knowledge of computerised data entry and using spreadsheets
• Full understanding of confidentiality
• Knowledge of social media and effective ways of communication
• Good level of literacy knowledge sufficient to enable the production of high-quality written materials suitable for a variety of audiences
• To have clear communication skills and good telephone manner
• Ability to engage and communicate with parents and children
• Ability to work with a range of professionals and practitioners as part of a team
• Ability to work flexibly to meet changing priorities
• To produce accurate work to deadlines
• Ability to travel to service points around the County in a cost-efficient way
• Possession of a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (however reasonable adjustments will be considered for an applicant with a disability)
• An understanding of and commitment to Equal opportunities and the ability to apply this in all situations
• Must be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment where appropriate in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010
