Nottingham City Council has a portfolio of 8 Leisure Centres, ranging from the Iconic Harvey Hadden Sports Village with a 50m Swimming Pool which is situated in Bilbrough to Victoria Leisure Centre which is in the heart of Nottingham and boasts a 25m Swimming Pool, Fitness Gym and Health Suite.
     
There are a number of Full and Part Time opportunities across the sites for Centre Attendants which are as follows:
• Clifton Leisure Centre - 37 hours
• Clifton Leisure Centre - 17 hours
• Ken Martin Leisure Centre - 30 hours
• John Carroll Leisure Centre - 12.25 (6 month fixed term contract, female required)
• John Carroll Leisure Centre - 17 hours
• John Carroll Leisure Centre - 37 hours (female required)
• Djanogly Community Leisure Centre - 19 hours (female required)
• Victoria Leisure Centre - 13.5
• Victoria Leisure Centre - 37 hours
• Victoria Leisure Centre - 37 hours
• Victoria Leisure Centre - 12.5 hours
  
As a Centre Attendant you will have a passion for delivering a first class customer experience whilst also ensuring the safety of visitors. We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering a first class service to all our visitors with a can do attitude and willing to go the extra mile for all visitors. Someone who can be calm under pressure has great customer service skills, highly responsible and natural with people from all walks of life.
   
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors to the pool and activities they take part in whilst making sure they have the best possible experience in terms of enjoyment, safety and hygiene. A holder of the current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and a good knowledge of pool safety, we will provide professional ongoing training to ensure you keep at the top of your profession. To check, set up and break down and store equipment as necessary within Manual Handling Guidelines are also key to the role alongside maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
   
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Hold a current and up to date National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (8th Edition)
• Commitment to providing high standards of customer service
• Providing a safe pool environment through excellent Lifeguarding practices
