JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking to appoint 5 casework assistants to join an expanding special Educational Needs and Disabilities Assessment Services, to support casework teams in the delivery of statutory duties in relation to the assessment and review of Education, Health and care plans. You will be committed to providing a high quality, inclusive service to the children and young people of Leicestershire with excellent interpersonal skills, time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure. The successful candidate will have excellent ICT skills and the ability to develop proactive working relationships with a range of people including education providers, parents, carers and other professional colleagues.


 
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Relevant BTEC OR NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience of supervising the work of others
  • Ability to extract relevant information from a range of data and present appropriately
  • Ability to prepare agendas, attend meetings and take formal notes
  • Good appreciation of customer care
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff at all levels
