Contract Type: Temporary, initially for 12 months, this may become permanent
Working Hours: Part Time - 18.75 per week (Term time / 3 days (to be negotiated) / 8.30am - 3.15pm with a 30-minute lunch)
Salary Details: LG Band 5, Scale Points 11 - 14
Actual Salary: £9,156 - £10,336 based on experience
Start date: 29th August 2019
    
We are looking to appoint a careers coordinator to work with the senior team responsible for overseeing careers provision at the school, this is a key role as you will be planning and developing opportunities for our students to support them in making future career choices.
Ideally you will have previous experience of employment outside of education and have an understanding of the management and delivery of projects.
   
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they have:
• GSCE English / Maths A*-C (or equivalent)
• Experience of working with young people
• Solid ICT skills
• Good communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• A positive 'can do' attitude
• A calm manner
• A friendly personality
• A motivated attitude to work
• A pride in the service they provide
