Starting salary is £41,025 rising to £42,889 on first year anniversary, subject to completion of a probation period.

  • DEVELOPING HEALTHY MINDS AND RELATIONSHIPS AND SWIFT AND EASY ACCESS FOR SUPPORT by working with partner agencies to ensure children and young people have the self-esteem, confidence and knowledge to keep themselves safe in their relationships. Nottingham City is a leading authority in the hosting, and the management of a single point of access (SPA) and pathway for managing the mental health and emotional well-being of children and young people supported by a strong multi-disciplinary partnership, and we would like to invite you to join our team!
Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Leading and managing the planning, coordination, delivery of a Citywide CAHMS Citywide service and SPA.
  • Managing the practitioners responsible for ensuring positive mental health and wellbeing for vulnerable children, young people and their families.
  • Promoting high standards of practice in safeguarding, management of mental health and safeguarding risk, and effective interventions through a robust performance management framework.
You will hold a relevant degree in mental health and/or equivalent professional qualification, along with the ability to demonstrate your knowledge and skills in therapeutic and mental health casework. Your experience should include implementation of evidence based practice including a good understanding of IAPT, and passion and energy to lead and drive a high performing and highly motivated team. 
An enhanced DBS check will be required. This is a full-time 37 hour week position.
