The starting salary is £19,171 rising to £19,945 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

The Mental Health Support Team is a new team created following a successful bid by the Child and Adolescant Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to NHS England.  The team aim is to ensure that everyone is able to access the right help, in the right setting, when they need it.  A pro-active and innovative Business Support Officer is required to support a team of education mental health practitioners who work directly with schools and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues. The day to day duties will include processing new referrals for support in a confidential and timely way, setting up efficient and effective business processes to support practitoners with their day to day activities, the management of personal and sensitive information and providing excellent customer services when dealing with enquiries from other colleagues, CAMHS partners agencies such as schools and health and the general public. The Business Support officer will be based mainly at Loxley House but may be required to work flexibly at other locations if required.  
        
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrates a commitment to a quality, customer focused service.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels utilising a variety of methods including telephone, email and face to face.
• Extensive use of and experience of using the MS Office Suite.
• Experience of planning and organising own workload and be able to work flexibly in a pressured environment.
• Ability to work in a confidential and politically sensitive environment.
• Maintain and assist with the development of information systems and related procedures.
