The starting salary is £37849 (Level One) rising to £39782 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

This role provides business, improvement and project support to the Head of Service, managers and teams across Customer Services and the wider council, leading improvement initiatives in respect of income generation, efficiencies, digital innovation, system and process re-engineering and high level corporate priorities.
   
Identifying new business streams and fostering existing relationships and partnerships you will join a team of dedicated individuals committed to delivering excellent service delivery.
     
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Extensive experience of imaginative business development within a political, commercial and customer service environment
• A strong understanding of business planning, financial and project management with focus around lean/six sigma and digital approaches.
• Ability to create and foster relationships with stakeholders, partners, leaders and peers in a political and customer focused environment with a focus on collaboration.
• High level analytical skills with ability to demonstrate sound judgement in problem solving and creative resolutions.
