Salary Range: £19,701 - £20,094 
Annualised Hours - Between 35 hours and 40 hours per week.
                
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Waste Management Delivery Service, as such Leicestershire County Council is looking to recruit an Assistant Waste Sites Supervisor to support in the operation and supervision of the Council's 14 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC0, known locally as Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) and Waste Transfer Stations (WTS).
                
You will be responsible for supporting and assisting operational managers, supervisors and operational staff in delivering a high-quality service at all Leicestershire's RHWS. The role requires a proactive, flexible, 'can do' attitude. Effective time-management and problem-solving skills are key attributes.
            
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • A full, Clean & Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • A knowledge of waste operations and understanding of the various legislations and Health & Safety involved.
  • Candidate must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office or equivalent
