Role:
This post is for an ICT 1st/2nd line Service Desk technician. The Service Desk role supports internal customers who use ICT services and systems at Leicestershire County Council. Providing 1st & 2nd line support and guidance via phone, email, remote assistance, and Portal channels; delivering excellent first time fixes and quality advice and assistance. The Leicestershire County Council ICT Service Desk is an award winning service, delivering request fulfilment and incident resolution with quality and consistency, in line with ITIL framework practices.
     
You will be working at the front line of ICT service delivery within a county council delivering life-changing services to the public of Leicestershire. ICT at the council, is at the forefront of technology advancements in a corporate environment, providing virtual desktops, workforce mobility and Skype telephony as part of our innovative infrastructure delivery.
