Salary Range Grade 8 £21,144 - £23,111 per annum
Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) is an organisation working in partnership to make Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland the most physically active and sporting place in England.
LRS are seeking to recruit an Assistant Sports Development Officer to support the delivery of sport, physical activity or health related programmes and initiatives helping to ensure that they are delivered to meet the needs of our local communities.
With a relevant BTEC higher/NVQ4 or degree you will have a proven track record of working in a physical activity, sport or community development setting.  In addition, you will have had experience of supporting the management of physical activity and sports programmes and events, as well as a history of working together with partner organisations.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting national and local development programmes, which may include:  Early Years, School Sport competition programmes, Workplace Health, Active Schools or Physical Activity Intervention programmes.
