Salary Range: £32,094 - £34,653
The role of this post is to assist with the project management, development and implementation of the County Council's Major Transport Projects from feasibility studies and outline business case, through construction on site, to financial monitoring and post scheme evaluation. The post holder will also assist with the development and implementation of County Council delivered Third Party schemes through facilitating; funding agreements, design and construction, stakeholder communication and other liaison as necessary to safeguard the Highway Authority. This includes the S106 Programme and other projects as required by the Team Manager.
  • A degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent qualification (e.g. BTEC Higher in Civil Engineering) plus demonstrable experience and skills
  • Experience working in an engineering setting in relation to design, management, maintenance or administrative processes
  • Experience collaborative working with customers and key stakeholders to deliver outputs and outcomes
  • Experience working in a commercial environment, delivering projects and programmes to time, quality and cost
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships across stakeholders, peers and partners, creating open and transparent relationships based on trust
  • A customer focusses approach where the customer experience is central to the delivery of the service
