Salary Range: £32,094 - £34,653
The role of this post is to assist with the development and implementation of an aligned operational maintenance programme. Balancing customers focus, quality and cost effectiveness through the principles of effective commissioning and risk-based asset management for the County Council's Highway Assets. This includes maintenance schemes for the County's carriageways, footway and drainage assets to improve their condition, performance and value alongside the reactive maintenance service.
  • A degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent qualification (e.g. BTEC Higher in Civil Engineering) plus demonstrable experience and skills
  • Experience working in an engineering setting in relation to design, management, maintenance or administrative processes
  • Experience collaborative working with customers and key stakeholders to deliver outputs and outcomes
  • Experience working in a commercial environment, delivering projects and programmes to time, quality and cost
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships across stakeholders, peers and partners, creating open and transparent relationships based on trust
  • A customer focussed approach where the customer experience is central to the delivery of the service
