As an Apprentice within the Employee Service Centre for East Midlands Shared Services you will have a fantastic opportunity to study and learn in a fast-paced and friendly environment. The training programme will be tailored to your needs and will be supported by the Leicestershire Adult Learning Service who are there to offer additional support. You will have the opportunity to develop in many key areas and will be able to provide day to day administrative support and transactional processing in our Payroll, Payroll Control and Service Desk teams.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Genuine interest in Payroll with a basic understanding how Payroll works.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the teams and undertake relevant training.
  • Eagerness to develop customer care skills with a basic knowledge of what customer care means.
  • Competency in written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to use ICT systems, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
  • Confidence in working within a fast-paced environment.
