Salary Range: Grade 9 currently £24,801 - £26,925
     
As Application Configuration Expert (CFS), you will be part of a team providing high quality development within high priority Business applications.
    
We are looking for a flexible individual to join the team and support the Children's and Family services range of key business applications, which spans areas including Children’s Social Care, and Children’s education service areas.
   
In this varied role will help us provide system development using proprietary system tools along with some development tools/techniques. You will also contribute to the development of appropriate UAT testing of new/revised products. You will be a team player who is committed to customer service excellence and will ensure you contribute positively to the management of knowledge within the team.
   
You will work closely with Customer teams and other I&T professionals to ensure the services we provide meet tight timescales, business priorities, and SLA’s. You will ensure the quality of your outputs meet business requirements and our strict quality standards, including the application of the change and release processes are respected.
               
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Achieved proficiency in SFIA at level 3
• Proven significant ICT experience with evidence of operating at a practitioner level (SFIA level 3) in a large ICT environment
• Of working with technical and professional staff
• Able to demonstrate a flexible, innovative and positive approach
• Experience of delivering complex business processes and configuring supporting ICT business applications.
• Good analytical/problem solving skills; numerate
• Understanding and experience of the application of customer service philosophy.
• Have a 'can do' attitude and a strong Customer focus
• Ability to form and maintain constructive working relationships across the team, unit and organisational boundaries at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines.
                         
DESIRABALE REQUIREMENTS:
Detailed knowledge of the configuration/development of high priority business applications, preferably:
• Capita One
• Mosaic
