This vacancy is an opportunity to work within the Learning For Independence curriculum of Leicestershire Adult Learning Service as a Woodwork Tutor specifically within Learning Support which caters for adults with learning difficulties.
      
The successful candidate will be able to confidently deliver and adapt their teaching and learning styles to meet the needs of all learners.  All courses follow the principles of RARPA (Recognising and recording Progress and Achievement) every learner has an individual learning plan and the accredited courses we deliver are AIM Awards. Class sizes are between 8 -12 learners and each group benefits from a dedicated Learning Support Assistant.
   
The successful candidate will working with a diverse group of learners in a vibrant and engaging learning environment.
   
Adult learning courses are delivered in a variety of venues around Leicestershire, the current vacancies we have are in the Wigston and Seagrave areas.
    
This is a sessional tutor role and will be paid on a submission of a pay claim at the end of each month. The hours indicated are paid at an hourly rate which includes provision for face -to-face teaching time and non contact preparation/training time which will be outlined in a working pattern letter.
The advertised hours will predominantly be during the 30 weeks of our academic year.
